Should I Buy the Silver or Space Grey iPhone X? Why?

Choosing the color of the phone you should buy can be difficult, especially if you plan to spend a lot of money on it. Choosing a color for an iPhone was much more straightforward on earlier models because there were only three options: black, white, or gold.

The iPhone X is only available in the colors space grey and Silver, unlike earlier iPhone models like the iPhone 8 and 8 plus. We carefully considered both color options, and we can confidently say that whichever you choose, you will receive a superb smartphone.

iPhone X Features

The features of the iPhone X are the same whether you choose the silver or space gray versions. The iPhone X is resistant to dust and water and can withstand one ml of water for 30 minutes. It has a 5.8-inch screen and a 3D touch. IOS 11.1.1 is the default version for the phone, but you can upgrade it to IOS 12.1.3. For this model, a Nano-sim is required.

No memory card slot is available, internal storage options range from 64GB to 256GB, and there is 3 GB RAM.

The iPhone X provides 1125 x 2436 pixels and a 1290 Hz touch sensor. The two main cameras each have a 12MP sensor, while the single selfie camera has a 7MP sensor. The iPhone X lacks a 3.5mm jack, like other recent iPhone models, but it has excellent stereo speakers. Active noise cancellation is provided by a dedicated mic, allowing you to record high-quality audio or video with this phone.

iPhone X Color Options

Some features are entirely different from the front and back. Whether you select the silver or space grey iPhone X, the front will be black. This sets iPhone X apart from earlier iPhone models, which had a white front. But it goes deeper than that.

You might be put off by the black front, especially if you believe that a black front makes a phone’s display appear larger.

Silver iPhone X

The rear glass panel of a silver iPhone X will be white-greyish, and the frame surrounding the device will be made of stainless steel with a silvery hue. It’s essential to keep in mind that stainless steel is susceptible to scratches, regardless of how carefully you handle your phone. Fortunately, it’s easy to get rid of these scratches on steel. The unfortunate thing is that compared to a dark metallic steel frame, a silver frame will more obviously show these scratches. This is an important consideration to make when choosing a product to buy.

It’s important to note that the iPhone X Silver pays excellent homage to Apple’s original model, which was introduced to the market in 2007 as the tenth-anniversary model. This is materialized by its stainless-steel silver frame, silver aluminum back, and all-black front.

Space Grey iPhone X

Because the front and back of the Space Grey iPhone X are made of glass, you will need to spend a lot of time cleaning finger smudges from the device to keep it looking clean. The Space Grey color, however, tends to show fingerprints more than the Silver iPhone X. The iPhone X in Space Grey has a modern appearance and is more resistant to micro scratches.

The rear panel will be free of FFC logos regardless of your choice of color as long as you buy in the United States. Additionally, you won’t find labels like “Designed by Apple in California” that you are probably used to seeing. All of this was successfully moved by Apple into the software. Still, suppose you’re buying in Europe, the United Kingdom, or most of Asia (outside Hong Kong). You’ll have to put up with it because Apple is compelled to adhere to regional laws by emphasizing logos on the device.

Who Should Choose Grey Space iPhone X?

Space grey iPhone X is the color to choose if you want a phone that won’t distract your attention from videos or games when you’re playing them. This option will also work well for you if you want a phone that won’t easily show signs of use and abuse. However, many users believe this color option is more formal.

Who Should Choose Silver iPhone X?

The Silver iPhone X will please anyone looking to purchase a color that is not too dark and does not draw much attention to itself. This is the best option for you if you’re looking for a phone that doesn’t easily show scrapes and scratches.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, space grey has an elegant appearance and is more resistant to microscopic scratches, but the coating is easily chippable. Additionally, this phone makes fingerprints more noticeable. However, the silver version of the iPhone X looks elegant but is very susceptible to minute scratches. However, using cod wipes, you can easily buff out the scratches. The phone appears completely new after wiping. Less fingerprinting is visible on this phone.

Choose a color you adore and a preference that suits your personality. Close your eyes and visualize holding your preferred iPhone. Pay close attention to the color you see and select that one.
